Last '09 entry. WHAT TO WEAR ON NYE !

I can't tell if I can not fall asleep from one to many hot green teas or the fact that this year is ending, and 2010 is the new millennium ! All I know is New Years Eve is tomorrow..technically today on account that its already 4 AM.

New Years attire for the ladies: FLASHY please!
You don't have to bedazzle yourself with tons of sequin and big rocks. You can play up and down an outfit.

- Plain black dress

• A belt that stands out
• Sequined beret or headband (without the belt)
• Simple jewelery (earrings and rings)
• Platforms or heels
  
• OR Sheer lace tights
  

-Sequin

• If you wear a sequined dress, play it down with simple shoes, hair pulled back, and studded earrings. NO BIG JEWELERY
  
• Sequined leggings require a simple top that shows off your arms, a shirt with some skin! and pumps.
• Sequin mini skirts or shorts look adorable with a plain top, pantyhose, and boots.
  
• Any hair sequined hair accessory can be worn with a vest or a simple outfit, with high shoes or comfy boots.
  

-Jackets

• Leather jackets, blazers, military jackets, and even coats (depending where you are) would look stunning on NYE. Wearing any sort of jacket will make heads turn, especially when taking it off with an even flattering outfit underneath it! (I wouldn't wear a military jacket with a flashy dress, that's too much! )
  

-MAKEUP LOOKS (one or the other)

• Sparkly eyes (Urban Decay)
  
• Smokey eyes (Mac or Stila)
  
• False Lashes (Make Up For Ever)
  
• Tons of mascara and some gloss (Dior & Lancome)
  
• A dramatic cat eye (Chanel)
  
• A not so dramatic cat eye with red or dark pink lips (YSL)
  

If you don't wear much makeup, don't be scared to push the envelope on NYE !
