Light Painting

Shot by: Alex Covo
Model: Justine
Makeup/hair: Me

Working with Alex Covo

has a very awesome eye for high fashion photography. I worked with him on October 6th and we came up with amazing images using model Justine Wick, represented by Mega Models Miami. The shoot was nothing I've ever seen before.
He worked with the lights off and created these awesome images with nothing but the model, a flashlight, and his camera. Alex went around the room pointing the flashlight directly on Justine and moving the light around the walls and any space around her. This photography technique was what he had mentioned to me called 'Light Painting'.

Makeup and hair:
Justine has really thick hair, so for the first look we went for big hair with lots of volume. For her makeup I went with cat eyes, a light maroon lip, and radiant skin for a playful sex kitten look.

We had more time to play for the second look! I went in with a modern gothic twist. Her hair
pinned with bobbypins, pale skin, lots of glitter, and dark lips. No one inspires me more than my favorite makeup artist Pat Mcgrath.

These photos were taken by me on set. Alex Covo's finished work will be posted soon :)
It was amazing working with Alex and Justine. We had a great time shooting, and as artists we helped each other achieve the images we were looking for.

HALLO

WEEN, has been one of my most busiest times of the year. Our luck it fell on a Sunday..meaning partying and dressing up the entire weekend!
Friday: Mac Store: Got to make an 8 year old into a gothic cheerleader and made up other ladies into your typical classical beauty with false lashes and red lips. After work I primped up my twin sis into Barbie (or in this case Teresa) and myself into Princess Jasmine! I do want to say that this has been one of my most favorite halloween costumes we've ever put together. I also made time to bake chocolate and lemon cupcakes for that nights festivities at a friends house!

Saturday: Booked a few clients..but my most favorite was doing a Pam Anderson in Barb Wire look on one of my clients. I hustled my usual one hour drive to Miami to make a former model into a hot Victoria Secret Angel! She was pretty fun to glam up. We went with soft bronze colors and tons of highlight to her skin. Not to mention extensions, curls, and big hair..which eventually turned into the bed hair waves we wanted! Last touch was the body glitter by Make Up For Ever! As for the rest of my night, I went to a party near by dressed as a sailor and got to see a whole bunch of other fun costumes!
Sunday: Worked at the Mac Macys, I decided to dress up as a pinup girl! Fake tattoos and all my friends! It was an extremely busy day
at the mall but seeing the little children, parents, and even other workers all dressed up was pretty adventurous.
