Poplifes 10th Year Anniversary

Poplife is an event held on Saturday nights in Miami. The Club/Lounge always has awesome DJs and Live performances. Make sure you will be there June 6th 2009! Poplife will be showcasing indie and electro type music. The 10-year anniversary celebration will be at White Room, 1306 North Miami Ave., Downtown Miami. COME PARTY!

H&M Obsessed

I think it is safe to say that I am obsessed with H&M. Its a Swedish clothing company and one of my most favorite lines out there. I was upset that the only place I could shop at H&M was when I went to visit New York. I have just been informed that there will be an H&M opening sometime in Spring in Orlando, FL! I go to Orlando to visit friends all the time,and now I can have another reason to go and shop at my favorite store! If you've never shopped there before, I guarantee you it will be one of your favorite stores if you are male or female!

On the side note they have the best baithing suits, shoes, sunglasses, and other accessories, so be sure to be on a look out for those!

Leather Jackets

Leather Jackets are seriously my favorite item of clothing. I think well fitted ones look awesome on both male and female. It's a great jacket to have when its slightly windy or if it rains. Some have hoodies attached to them and others don't. Leather jackets are fun to wear out, and even though its a simple jacket..it adds more to your look.

Wild Thing Collection by MAC

Be sure to check out MACs Wild Thing collection in stores on May 28! They will have marigold orange lipglasses, yellow gold eyeshadows, and fun purple nail polishes, packaged in animal print. These colors are great for summer, kick it with a nice tan and these fun colors on your lips.

New faces

I love working on new faces and meeting new people. The model I worked on today was gorgeous and she is in the Elite modeling agency. I'm thinking about signing with an agency to do makeup for their shoots. Hopefully one of these days I will work with well known and wealthy people. I love putting myself out there and always meeting new people. There is so much I want to accomplish, and I feel that I will get there soon one day!

DASH Miami

We all know who the Kardashians are. They have a hit television show on E! The girls have a clothing store out in LA and just opened up one in Miami yesterday. Unfortunately I missed the girls at their grand opening, however, I managed to see the boutique a few hours later. The clothes range from different prices, but it's pretty pricey. I say give the boutique a quick visit, its adorable. I took a few pictures of it yesterday. Check them out.

Boys dress code

Many guys often think there is not much to wear. They think either a simple shirt would go with pants or shorts. Some guys coordinate their hats and shoes together. Here is my top ten must have items if you are a male.
1) White v-neck : A white v-neck shows that the guy is comfortable wearing a t-shirt reviling a little skin. I'm not saying wear a deep v, but most girls find it very attractive when a guy wears one.

2)Finding the right pair of jeans: Not too tight, or not too loose. A guy needs to find well fitted jeans and not rock skinny jeans better than a girl, its kind of sad. I suggest Lucky Brand jeans for guys.

3)Own a Cardigan: I think most guys should own at least two cardigans. They look great over any t-shirt, you can dress a look up or down with it.

4)The right sunglasses: Sunglasses are a huge accessory factor. Many guys look good with aviators, ray bans, or blue blockers.

5)Flannel shirt: A flannel shirt looks awesome by itself or something thrown on top of it, like a hoodie or they can wear it unbuttoned with a tank top under.

6)Jackets: Blazers look really look great with jeans and a t-shirt if you want to look nice but not overly dressed for an occasion. I think every guy should own a leather jacket. They have nice ones at Urban Outfitters.

7)Vest: Black vests or denim look really nice on top of any t-shirt or tank.

8)Wearing things around your neck: Scarfs, ties, even bow ties look awesome. If you think you can pull a look off, go for it. I say wear what you want.

9)SHOES: Change it up guys, don't stick to one pair of sneakers. Wear boater shoes, moccasins, converse, and different colored kicks. I like when a guys not afraid to try new things as far is it goes with shoes.

10)Don't be afraid to accessorize: Beanies are my weakness, I think its a fun way to play with your look. Baseball caps are nice too, if a guy wears it nicely not in a hoodlum type way. I also like bracelets on you guys. Not a fan of rings on the fingers, it looks a little too feminine. And lastly if you think you can pull of a top hat or the ones made from straw, go for it!

Native American

The style that is most popular now is the Native American style. People are wearing moccasins and boots. Not to mention wearing hand made things and custom beaded or braided headbands, belts, and jewelry. Girls wear feathers on their necklaces or earrings and lots of worn out golds. If you live in a colder environment I suggest buying mukluks,they are really adorable warm native boots.
The Native American style is very popular with our trends today.

Polaroid Film

It really bothers me that they discontinued polaroid film. It was such a popular and fun way to get instant photos. I really hope they will one day continue making film for polaroids=[
People use it for fun and some use it for work. For example backstage at fashion shows, the designer assigns their models an outfit and quickly writes down what models wearing what outfit on the film. Great for fun pics and work.

Adorable

Talk about a trendy gal. She looks adorable in her Indian boots and sundresses. I think people should wear what they want if it makes them feel good. If you truly know fashion, you would know that you wear what you like, how and whenever you want to.

Shoes

I think most people are obsessed with shoes. The shoes I find myself wearing all the time are moccasins and these rocking wedges from H&M. My favorite places to get shoes are Steven Madden, Aldo, Urban Outfitters, and H&M. 

I find boater shoes really adorable too. 

red cardigan

I've always thought cardigans were the perfect tie to an outfit. I prefer black or gray ones. But on males, I think a red cardigan looks most adorable on them. American Apparal has some of my favorite cardigans, the one in the picture is from AA. 

"THE" MAKEUP SHOW

I went to The Makeup Show Miami last year and thought it was the most incredible show ever.
I met so many artists and bought many new supplies for my kit. For some reason the one in Miami got canceled this year. It really upset me because I was really looking forward to it.
There's The Makeup Show NYC going on this weekend. I can't even begin to say how incredibly upset I am, I wish I can attend the one in The City. Everything in NYC tends to be even more extravagant.

Last year, I remember being in awe by the hard work put into the show. The body painting and face art was incredible. The artists that helped with the event where phenomenal. I hope to one day work one of these shows.

Scarlett Johansson

Shes just absolutely beautiful. Her look in this Dolce & Gabbana ad is stunning. I always like a classy look, especially on one of my favorite celebs. The look they went for here is old Hollywood Glam. Scarlett Johansson looks amazing.

FALSE LASHES

Everyone knows about my obsession with false eye lashes. They are really fun and add a dolly look.
I recommend two favorites of mine. Yes MAC number 7 eye lashes are my favorite simple look. Theyre not too heavy looking on the lid like big dramatic ones.




But, if you do prefer a heavy look with a smokey touch I would say get the Ardell lashes, they sell them at your nearest Sallys or any other beauty supply store.I wear these more then anything.

The Right Mascara

Many people ask me what my favorite mascara is. I can honestly say its worth buying an expensive one that will last you. I mean theres nothing wrong with getting a less expensive five dollar one versus a twenty dollar one. Diorshow is my favorite mascara, its on the pricey side but
worth buying.

On the other hand, if you are looking for a cheaper one Great Lash by Maybelline is the way to go. I think every girl has it in her makeup bag.

Glitter. Glamor. Gold.

Honey Lust eye shadow by MAC is one of my favorite eye shadows out there.
Its golden sparkly pigment creates a really pretty shimmery look. I have brown eyes and find it makes my eyes appear lighter. By far one of my favorite products.

Galliano

John Gallianos work has always fascinated me. He has really funky ideas and I really admire that every part of his show needs to be over the top. Bright colors, glitter, jewelry, big hair! Not to mention that all of his shows include the top models of the world. 

One thing that catches my eyes more than his clothes is the makeup. It must take about an hour or more to do one girl. 

Its absolutely amazing.
