It means the world to me to go on one of the largest modeling sites and see my work featured in the models portfolio on the website. I get goose bumps to see that big agencies approve of my work to be on their site. It isn't only me, it's the team as well. I worked a shoot a few months ago with Cari Paige who photographs in NYC. We went to a boutique together and styled the shoot as well. We had a team who supplied the jewelry and an awesome hair stylist. Not to mention that we were on an awesome farm and got to photograph Chandler posing with the animals.

Serge Lutens

As I'm reading through "On Makeup Magazine", I got inspired reading what artists had to say about not giving up on the makeup artistry career. As I read through their interviews, I learned that passion is something someone never gives up on. One of my favorite part was to read about what or who inspires these artists. One name stood out the most, Serge Lutens. I'm sad to admit I had no idea who he was until I researched about him.

Serge Lutens is famously known for his many talents. He is a French photographer, filmmaker, hair stylist, makeup artist, fashion designer, and a perfume director. Vogue Paris hired him to create looks for the magazine in the 60's. It is such a dream job, for a man who can do it all. Shiseido is one of the top makeup companies out there and he got to develop their product images in the 80's.

Looking through his work has majorly inspired me. Reading about him shook me into reality, that he was a talented man who never gave up.
 I am a little embarrassed to say that I just discovered him, but thank goodness for reading and learning about other artists and who inspires them.
This opened a new light in my eyes.

I'm grateful for reading and learning, one of the greatest ways we can truly educate ourselves.

Back in town, back to blogging.

Looking through my old posts made me realize how much I miss blogging. I guess with all the different social medias out there I forget how much I love blogging and writing about my adventures. Blogspot was my first original blog, and I wish I had the time to keep up. Hopefully I can still keep up.

Everyone has their own journey in life. My life consists of making people feel beautiful about themselves. Makeup, art, traveling, fashion, photography, and constantly learning in life. I'm blessed.
